The Goals of an Intuitive Session

It is my utmost pleasure to provide a coaching session for anyone who feels that need one. I have worked with a variety of topics including relationships, work/career, life path, spiritual awakening and so much more.I have also worked with various tools including no tools at times. Sessions are intense both for you and for the sensitive providing the service. So it has to have some order. I understands this field of spiritual coaching can be a bit scattered and riddled with scammers out there, from street corner gypsy to motivations gurus in large arenas. Somewhere in the middle are those providing hard core advice and relief and healing to those who need it. Those who are called to do provide healing. 

What some call psychics I call sensitives. As you read this piece the word psychic and sensitive will be used interchangeably. A psychic is an umbrella term used to describe a person with paranormal abilities and/or who is able to perceive at a higher level, hence the word "sensitive".  Psychic abilities have always been around and recorded since ancient times. Psychics can be clairvoyants, palm readers or mediums. Psychics can provide advice on all aspects of a persons life and let them know information about their life's purpose. The guidance that a psychic provides to the client has the ability to change and improve their life if the person chooses to consider their advice.

 About Compensation for Services

Paying for services is one of the most difficult things to sort through for a lot of healers who were told they are not to charge for their services and gifts. What many do not understand is that these sessions are work and involve time, skill and energy. If someone just provides this for free for everyone, they are giving away a tremendous amount of energy and not replenishing it. They are being disrespectful to themselves and all other healers who give so much of themselves in this process. This is not a healthy or balances situation. Research should be done by the client on the intuitive healer’s process, referrals and of course your own gut instinct.

Those insisting that this particular gift be given away without anything in return are speaking out of fear and ignorance. Ask a yoga teacher, chiropractor, food store owner, or even religious leader not to accept his collection/donation plate at the church and see how ridiculous that is. As with anything, if you are being asked to give a compensation that is unreasonable or harmful to you, run don’t just walk the other way. In cases of true emergencies there is always help available that you don’t have to sacrifice for. A true professional will help you through the emergency and help you accordingly.

There are notorious scam artists with titles of healers, psychics, helpers or any other name. In fact, there are highly skilled psychics with extraordinary abilities but don’t use them for the greater good. Because of freewill, they can use their abilities any way they can, even if it’s for selfish hurtful reasons. These are people who will lie to you, mixed with some truth, frighten you and try to get you to pay unreasonable amounts for doing spells and cleansings or other spiritual works activities. That’s not what a healer does. To manipulate others with spells or other such rituals is interfering with another’s freewill and has huge karmic consequences. Nothing good can come from that so again run away and find a true healing service. As for cleansings, you can have some one professionally assist you. With Feng Shui, there is usually a cost but you can always try it yourself for free or small amounts of money.  (excerpt from book You're Not Crazy, It's Paranormal")

• Traditional therapist with an expertise in Spiritual Emergence Issues

I don't advocate one type of sensitive over another. It really depends on your own fundamental beliefs and what resonates with you. If you don't have anything in particular, then doing a little bit a research on the list above can help you in deciding what is the best fit for you.

It is widely believed that Sensitives gain their power from either a spiritual gift or their bodys ability to use their brain more effectively. From what we know, it is estimated that human beings use only about ten percent of their brain. It is a common theory that psychics have the ability to tap into the other ninety percent of the brains power and this is the source of their gifts.

There are several natural gifts that psychics can use to help their clients. Some psychics have the ability to communicate with other spiritual realms that we do not have access to. These types of psychics are usually called mediums and they can give you messages from departed loved one. There are people with the ability to receive messages in their minds. A clairsentient feels a message, a clairvoyant sees a special message and a clairaudient hears a message. There are also psychics that are great animal communicators. They can telepathically connect with animals and allow us to know what they are feeling.

Psychics can use several tools to enhance their abilities. Astrology is used to display how the patterns of the planets relate to the events in our lives. An astrology reading is used to let the client know what to expect in their life. Numerology works in a similar way. A persons date of birth is used to indicate the lifes path.

Tarot cards are used to answer a clients specific question or give an overview of their current situation. There are two types of cards in a tarot deck: the major and minor arcane. Psychics will most likely focus on the major cards during the reading since they reveal the major aspects of a persons life. I use then as a concentration tool and use both major and minor arcanas. 

Additional tools include crystals, runes, and pendulums. Good psychics know how to use these powerful items to get the answers that you want to know about your life. A psychic can also use their gifts to not only tell about possibilities about your future. Some can actually see glimpses of the future and make quite accurate predictions about the upcoming events in the world but this is tricky since it is where destiny and freewill intersect.

Some sensitives have amazing abilities, but there are certain things that you should not expect from a psychic. A psychic can not predict lottery numbers, horse race winners, or provide you with gambling tips. A psychic that tells you that they can do this is merely a scam artist that wishes to take your money. Also, avoid psychics that ask for an absorbent amount of money without providing any proof of their skills. However, do not expect a psychic to be accurate all of the time. Everybody makes mistakes and a psychic is no different.

When you visit or contact a sensitive, they will let you know their specialties and will usually have several services to offer you. They can give you a general reading or you can simply ask the questions that you wish to be answered about your life. You will be amazed at the psychics intuition and how many details that they can give you about your current situation. It is important to remember that psychics can guide you in the right direction, but it is up to you to follow their guidance.

How I do my sessions

Many times people will want to ask a question and speak to a sensitive.  in my case an Empath I get asked many questions that cannot be answered on the spot. For specific and individual issues there are steps to take to make the best of the experience. Please understand no psychic or sensitive can just answer out of no where. Often times, there needs to be order, preparation to be able to be present and concentrate as in any therapeutic environment. 

• Go to website in advance and follow simple instructions there
• Do make an appointment,  please don't just call, email or text
• Have your question or issue ready, even if it's a general issue
• Have notes from any past sessions with anyone else
• Release expectations, this is a healing process

The incentive I Needed

Recently, I expressed my feelings of being displeased with behavior of some folks I believed were my colleagues. I stated that although not obligatory, it is socially and professionally expected to be appreciated for services provided. That appreciation can take many forms, a simple thank you, a public acknowledgement, referrals (especially if helps the person's business), offer of some compensation for future services, and so on. Any of these gestures would do. That is what I was attempting to express since I didn't receive any of the above for providing one of the services I do as a psychic-empath, social connecting.

Oddly I had an extremely negative reaction including being dismissed as being "too sensitive". Needless to say they currently do not speak to me. At first I felt very offended because I thought I had established enough rapport to be supported and respected. However, I quickly realized I had to 1) Let it go because my point was not going to be understood, 2) Share it so we can all learn lessons from this.

So, as a professional I did let it go. Knowing it's a connected world and we will see each other again at some point. As an psyhic-empath I thought to myself, They are right in calling me too-sensitive. That's a good thing because what it actually means is that I sense from them why this situation occurred and can tell where it's heading. This isn't easy to share directly with people who don't have a certain level of intuitive awakening, hence this post. This experience, one of many actually, served as an incentive to describe exactly what I do as a psychic-empath and what kind of work is in progress because of it.

What Kind of Psychics are There and what do I specifically do

Before I go any further let me explain what an Empath is:

An Empath is an Intuitive who in addition to expressing empathy (the ability to put oneself in another person or animal's place emotionally, physically and spiritually), has abilities and characteristics that go beyond the normal five senses. Empaths are extremely sensitive to their environment, people and animals. S/he literally “feels” and senses what others feel, think and the motives behind these. An Empath can receive psychic information by feeling what others feel/think but also via visual flashes, dreams, and connecting synchronicities.

The above experience of being snubbed gave me the perfect opportunity to unveil one of the most important projects I've been working on for some time. It's called "I see Dumb People: The Quest to End Rudeness and Increase Harmony With Manners©". This is the result of over two decades of research, counseling, advising, observations, spiritual inquiry and very challenging personal experiences.

You may or may not know that there are many types of Psychics. I mean real legitimate people who use their intuition to serve humanity with light, love and healing in many ways. They are called many names including Sensitives, Seers, Oracles, Intuitives, Mediums, Empaths, Lightworkers, Clairvoyants, and good old fashion Psychics. The younger generations being born are called Indigo, Crystal and Star children. There is quite a bit of information on this out there should you want to know more about each type. 

You should also know that there are other types of people with intuitive gifts who don't use it to spread light and love. They are also called Psychics, fortune-tellers, any of the above names, Gypsy Psychics (though not all Gypsy's are in this category--hear the show with Psychic Medium Mark Anthony who elegantly tells us the difference) and what I term as Charlatans. These people may or may not have genuine psychic abilities but use whatever skill they do have to hurt, profit, and destroy others with no care or repercussions. We won't go into detail here on that but will in the near future.

What a (genuine) Psychic is NOT 

• Happy-go-lucky all the time, We are human beings. We get hurt, angry, jealous, and sad like everyone else. But we work on it as humans that we are.
• Omniscient in this human form. We most certainly do not have all the answers. Some are more skilled at certain abilities than others. But as for me, I see signposts, trajectories, potentialities, and current patterns.
• Someone who should be disrespected and devalued because we charge for our contribution. We do as any other human does for their life;s work (musician, carpenter, accountant, dancer, actor etc.). Intuitive work is very, very challenging, emotional and important beyond words. A skilled, ethical intuitive should and does charge reasonably for what they offer as light, healing, and resources. • Available 24/7 for every question, it is important for clients to do critical self-work within the power of their own free will.
• Necessarily from the same spiritual belief or religious system as other psychics.
• The same as other psychics in skill type, level, compassion, integrity and understand. 
• Someone who casts spells to control others. That's messing with Free Will and a big Karmic no-no.

Therefore, a genuine psychic ideally is open to increasing their skills, understanding, and wisdom. Also, cooperation, support, and exchange of resources would be amazing goals within this community.

The Work I Do

For the sake of simplicity, I will refer to the work I do as a psychic empath. As an empath, I've had to learn through much hard work to put boundaries between what others are feeling and what I feel. It is so difficult to tell the difference, especially as a child. Many children who are called oversensitive are empaths and suffer so much because of ignorance and lack of support. Fortunately, times are changing and there is much more awareness. 

It is often difficult to see this ability as a gift. If feels like a curse because for some reason most empaths are attuned to others' pain as opposed to positive feelings. With the right resources that can change. Not only does boundary work help understand the pain, it helps one to receive more of the feelings of love, compassion and joy. 

Boundary work is really a life-time project. That's the bad news. The good news is, it's doable and you get stronger, better and more resources with time. Boundary work is also complex and takes stepping out of the logical realm into the balanced realm. The balanced realm includes logical reasoning with non-linear, creative and spiritual exploration. 

As an empath I want everyone and everything to feel good. That means people, animals, and the environment (yes the environment can sense). Why? Well maybe an admittedly selfish reason is that if you feel good, I feel good. In either case, I always declare what I do be for the highest and greatest good of all. That means there are a lot, I mean a lot of people who do NOT feel this way. That's humanity...free will for all. So in a way it's kind of a war of spreading light versus pain. Notice I didn't say dark...dark can be a good thing. 

One way I am contributing is to do a work of pointing out what decreases social harmony, e.g. rudeness and explore ways of increasing harmony, e.g. manners.. After all in a planet with 7 billion people, not counting all the billions of non-human animals, we've got some work to do. It is quite simple really. You start with YOU. Being self-aware and other-aware, then taking proper action is a good place to start. I also point out times we can do something about it and times we shouldn't. For those times we shouldn't because it may put us or others at risk of harm, I have this work to share via writings, broadcast, storytelling and one-woman show.
