You're Not Crazy, It's Paranormal

By: Diana Navarro M.S.

What would you expect research and statistics to say about what we think of the paranormal? That they believe in ghosts, haunted houses, telepathy/ESP, UFO’s, spiritual awakening, out-of-body experiences or tons of other types of experiences? Yes those are the questions most polls and questionnaires ask. But do you know what people actually want to share? It is that they aren’t crazy, that they really ARE experiencing paranormal events!

What would you expect research and statistics to say about what we think of the paranormal? That they believe in ghosts, haunted houses, telepathy/ESP, UFO's, spiritual awakening, out-of-body experiences or tons of other types of experiences? Yes those are the questions most polls and questionnaires ask. But do you know what people actually want to share? It is that they aren't crazy, that they really ARE experiencing paranormal events!

Notice while watching many paranormal programs, and reading books, hearing broadcasts, articles and blogs that people by far are asking, "Am I crazy?" when they experience spiritual and paranormal events. What if you were cleared medically, physically and emotionally of any conditions and still experienced things you could not explain by normal means? This is what can happen during a spiritual awakening or paranormal encounter.

My desire is to provide information, confirmation, validation, support and resources for various spiritual, paranormal and supernatural occurrences, so that there is a relief knowing you're not alone on journey.

Here you will find a primer of sorts exploring a variety of topics including:
•What incidents can be classified as paranormal versus an ordinary experience?
•What can trigger a spiritual crisis
•How to identify spiritual signs and synchronicities which are meant for you
•What a near death experience is
•What tools you can use to gently awaken your own intuition
•What yoga can do as a tool for healing.
•What steps to take for self-care during your spiritual journey
•What the difference is between benign supernatural experiences and frightening or dark paranormal incidents
•What to do and how to recognize psychic vampires versus a true healer
•See images of orbs or possible angelic signs

Those who are overwhelmed and frightened by their spiritual emergence can know that there is information, tools, support, that can allow you to embrace your spiritual journey with confidence and joy because you're not crazy, it's paranormal!

Finally got a Laptop to WRITE Microsoft Pre-Installed, not Subscription

My Computer Got Fried

I can't tell you how upsetting it was to finally break my writer's block, get on the horse of writing again only to find my laptop died on me. It stayed in this loop mode (see image), and lost tons of work.

Old Laptop
Okay I survived! But I needed a new one to continue one of my passions, which is writing and sharing beauty! I looked everywhere and found it challenging to find one that wasn't too expensive, (it's an expense either way, hello working artist!) and had Microsoft Office pre-installed, not a subscription. I finally found the one below. Getting it took time, thanks to my local post office, agh, but here it is and here I am writing.

If you are looking for one with the basics this one has, I've provided the info so you can get yours.

My Laptop, I love you...for now :)

Here are the specs from Amazon and don't forget, Get on my list I invite you to take the challenge and learn more about self-care check my site and the Power Self-Care for Chronic Pain and Stress.

Magnesium helps my HEART Palpitations!

Be Still my Palpitating Heart!

As an empath, I have a few health issues I have learned to recognize and take action to manage. One of them is my heart. Physically, and emotionally I take and feel other people and animal's feelings. That's what an empath is. Sometimes I absorb so much energy from my environment that my health gets adversely affected.

It took years to learn healthy boundaries I am still putting into practice, but the biggest lesson I learned, is to take care of myself so I can healthfully help others.

Recently a sequence of events, including having to separate from people who were much too toxic for me, many of my work items broke including my computer, and most importantly feeling the pain that is happening to our planet, animal and people, caused my heart to feel it emotionally and physically.
Doctor's Best High Absorption Magnesium Glycinate Lysinate, 100% Chelated, Non-GMO, Vegan, Gluten Free, Soy Free, 100 mg, 240 Tablets (packaging may vary)

My palpitations came back with a vengeance as did a sharp pain where my murmur developed in my early thirties. The palpitations get really bad when I lie down and try to rest. If feels like my heart is in my throat and it will turn into a heart attack.

I had a choice, take some prescribed medication that barely works but sedates me, and I don't need that, or back to what has worked before, namely taking Magnesium. Yes, magnesium sedates me too but in a healthy way and I take it before bed. The supplement you choose is up to you. I purchase Doctor's Best from Amazon because I can subscribe and get them sent automatically, it's vegan and high absorption.

Huge Plls

I got a huge ole bottle, and take 1 a day along with meditation, quiet time, journaling until the storm passes. Which it always does. My only complaint is, why are the tablets so darn BIG!!! OK, that's a "small" price to pay for my heart easing down...and I go back to work.

I would love to know if this works for other people. Does it help your palpitations? Do you feel relaxed? Is there a preferred, very effective brand?

Got an Air Diffuser to deal with Bad Neighbor's Smoking

Let me clarify what bad neighbor means

My neighbor isn't bad because she smokes. Like most smokers, she's addicted. I get that. She is bad because she is not a nice person and is causing all of us around her great distress. We, myself and other neighbors, have asked her nicely and semi-forcefully, even humorously, to please not smoke outside our apartment doors because it is filling our apartment with rancid cigarette smoke and, at least for me, aggravating my health issues. She flat out refused to change.

The Relief

That left me scrambling for different ways of coping including making complaints. Since that is taking some time and frankly hasn't been effective, I have had to do some adjustments inside my home to try to cope. This included using my air purifier more frequently and purchasing an air diffuser.

Nothing can cancel out the toxins in the second-hand smoke completely. But at least it has allowed me to use aromatherapy to relieve some of my stress with the healing scents of essential oils. The one I purchased is Radha Beauty Air Diffuser as well as their therapeutic grade essential oils. It was a small investment that gave me some consolation.

Aromatherapy Top 8 Essential Oil and Diffuser Gift Set - Peppermint, Tea Tree, Lavender & Eucalyptus - Auto Shut-off and 7 Color LED Lights Ă¢€“ Therapeutic Grade Oils by Radha Beauty

The Radha Beauty oils can be purchased as a set or separately, which I did because there were more of them, 18 to be exact. This is their essential oil product description:
"One of the many things we love about essential oils is their versatility. Our oils can be used individually or combined for aromatherapy, skin healing and conditioning, and even repelling insects! Great for traveling, gifts, or experiencing a little bit of everything in your oil collection. The set includes...lavender, tea tree, peppermint, lemongrass, orange, eucalyptus, rosemary, frankincense, lemon, bergamot, cedarwood, patchouli, geranium, pink grapefruit, cinnamon, oregano, clove, and clary sage."
Radha Beauty Aromatherapy 18 Essential Oils (Lavender, Tea Tree, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Orange, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Frankincense, Lemon, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Geranium, and more)

Obviously you don't need a nasty neighbor to try these since they are incredibly healing, pleasant and useful in many ways. But for me it does the trick until this issue is resolved.

Pain Relief Massager at Home or Office or Car

We can't always go and get a massage by a professional. The next best thing is to have options and find devices that provide similar relief.  I've been doing some searching and this has over 1500 reviews. Shiatsu back and neck massager looks like it would do the trick.

Naipo Shiatsu provides heat and deep kneading. I believe you can even use it on your feet. In fact according to their description it has uses including abdomen and can be used.
Naipo Shiatsu Back and Neck Massager Foot Massager with Heat Deep Kneading Massage for Neck, Back, Shoulder, Use at Home, Car, Office

It comes it two colors, has arm rests and has various settings. When you are in pain this looks like a great option.

Is a Neurostimulator Device that is Implanted the Answer to Chronic Pain? Gulp!

Can this neurotransmitter implanted device provide safe pain relief?

I suffer from chronic pain, hence my life work looking for healthy remedies, relief and ultimately a cure. I just saw a post on a new device, the HF10 that promises to relieve pain. This device is surgically implanted in to the spinal cord and masking the pain without causing tingling or numbing normal physical sensations, according to their website https://www.hf10.com/

Personally, I have my doubts about anything that is implanted unless it is absolutely a life-saving device. But when you are desperate for pain relief, you want to keep searching for it. Ideally it would be amazing to find and heal the original cause of the pain. Many current pain management techniques just mask or numb some of the pain for a certain amount of time and with significant other side effects.

I went to HF10 device site and filled out their short survey to see if I qualified for their trial and apparently I did not. I have pain in various places but primarily in my shoulder and upper back. This device is specifically for back and leg pain so why I I did not qualify is unclear. In any case, you can check for yourself.

Results Indicating I Did Not Qualify

The cost?

The costs of any neurostimulator ranges from $15,000 to $50,000 but the cost for this device was not clearly stated. I recommend you read the I have pasteda link for below which asks some good and critical questions about this particular device. There is some information not disclosed and we should be very cautious about that considering it is invasive and expensive, like surgical complications.

You can check the article here: https://www.healthnewsreview.org/news-release-review/society-news-release-provides-one-sided-view-new-device-back-pain/

In the meantime, I will continue to practice my everyday self-care and share my work with others via my course.

Self-Care IS...WHAT?

What is Self-Care Exactly?

There is a lot out there about what Self-Care is. Yet no one seems to really know. Certain industries are taking advantage of this and using it to market certain products like the beauty industry, or medical devices services, even the anti self-care movement that believe you should stay within the confines of the status quo.

Self-care is exactly that, caring for your "self". Your body, your mind, and your spirit. They are all connected. You care for one it flows over to other parts of our--selves.

So why the confusion or debate about what self-care is?

We have been conditioned to believe that caring for yourself is inherently wrong, selfish, bad and worst of all, unimportant. This is incorrect. Every living creature must care for themselves, otherwise we are unable to effectively do anything worth doing in life including caring for others.

Don't fall for the I DON'T HAVE TIME myth.  You can make the time. Who's the boss of you? Something or someone else? Take your power back. Start small, but take it back and stop making excuses.

Don't fall for the I CAN'T AFFORD IT myth. Self-care is so wide-ranging the some of the most basic forms are free and fundamental. Conscious breathing, watching your posture, scheduling your time, hygiene, etc.

Don't fall for the I DON'T NEED IT myth. We all need it or we'd wither away. Once we find the value in ourselves, everything falls into place.

Don't fall for the IT'S FOR WOMEN ONLY (OR MEN ONLY) myth. Self-care is for everyone. We all need it to nourish ourselves in various ways. This ranges from what we eat, to how we sleep, or who we spend time with oh and so much more.

The best part about self-care is the use of our creativity to find ways of doing it. And yes, there are self-care routines that are luxurious. That's okay, in fact, that's fantastic. there are choices and that's why we are here to exercise our free will and make choices.

The myths go on, so let's dispel them and work on what is true...

So You Don't Think Self-Care is for You?? Think again...

I was shocked at the amount of work I had to do with my power self-care work. Not only practicing it but explaining to people what it is.

Wow. Some people mistaken self-care is a fad or trendy act that is "for someone else". And my response is ,"Ah, no!"

Self-care ranges from hygiene, (yes hygiene, I can't tell you how many people are not practicing basic proper hygiene) to managing your finances responsibly. It can be discovering how to deal with difficult people in your life, to decluttering your home, or examining why you are having that recurring nightmare. And sometimes it can even include a massage.

Self-care most certainly is a way of purposely bringing health, balance and joy into your physical, emotional and spiritual life.

Self-care helps alleviate chronic physical, emotional and spiritual distress and pain. If you think you are exempt you will suffer needlessly.

Don't wait for life force you to care for yourself by experiencing a crisis. Be and proactive, you'll thank yourself later.

Taking good care of you means the people in your life will receive the best of you rather than what is left of you. ~ Lorraine Cohen
