About Our Guests
It is my pleasure and honor to have three vocalists who are superb in so many ways. This week we have the beautiful Felicia Mae, the fantastic Chuck Benz and the incredible David Giardina.
Felicia is Retired Kindergarten teacher born in Brooklyn NY . She worked in the public school system for 30 years. Also certified to teach Montessori Education. Received her BA and Masters degree from Brooklyn College . Started singing at open mics in 2004 and hasn't stopped since. Singing is her passion and she loves her singing community. She grew up in a musical family, the youngest of three sisters. She also loves dancing, ballroom, disco and Latin. Divorced and have 2 grown children both raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn . She believes whole-heartedly in self improvement and self-awareness, through being open to outside influences and good friendships. She loves the sun, warm weather, people, and New York City.
Chuck is called a renaissance man by his singing peers. He paints, practices and teaches Karate and is a pilot! He sings the most amazing songs and shares his talents with his community. He is happily married and often does musical performances throughout New York City.
David shares his story of how he began as a child actor and through life's beautiful synchronicites, and through the incorporation of his singing he sprouted his gift to step through time and sings of yester-year.
You will LOVE how each of our guests sings a song on the air a cappella! Click now to hear and enjoy. http://www.workingthingsout.com/radio.html
About This Show:
The New York Jazz/Cabaret world is relatively close-knit. Once you enter it, you are bound to meet incredible musicians who are not only talented but accessible as friends, advisors, and supporters. This week we will speak to two of my favorite vocalist about their views on New York's music scene, songs they love, their lives, current projects and of course how they use intuition in the creative works.
